The Beatbot Sora Range

Cordless pool robots that clean the whole pool — not just the floor.

Most robotic pool cleaners stop at the floor and walls, leaving floating leaves and pollen for you to net out by hand. The Sora range — the Sora 30 and Sora 70 — was built around a different idea: a cordless robot should be able to finish the whole job, from the pool floor to the water's surface, in one cycle. Poolbot is a UK-authorised Beatbot retailer for both models, with UK stock, UK support and full warranty backing.

Cleans the Whole Pool, Not Just the Floor

The Sora 70 uses a JetPulse™ surface-cleaning system — dual converging jets that actively pull floating debris inward rather than relying on wind or passive drift, so leaves and pollen get captured on the first pass instead of sinking and staining the pool floor. Combined with floor, wall and waterline cleaning, the 70 covers every zone of the pool in a single cycle. The Sora 30 covers floor, walls and waterline to the same standard, without the surface-skimming step — a sensible saving if your pool is sheltered from falling leaves.

Floor

Full-coverage vacuuming with 4-roller brush scrubbing on both models.

Walls

Wall-climbing on both models — algae doesn't get a foothold on the tile line.

Waterline

The scum line most manual routines miss, cleaned automatically on every cycle.

Water Surface (70 only)

JetPulse™ skimming catches leaves and pollen before they sink.

Suction Power You Can Actually Check

Both the Sora 30 and 70 deliver a published 6,800 GPH suction rating — and it's genuinely published, which is more than most competitors in this price bracket can say. When we compared the Sora 70 against Dolphin, Hayward, Zodiac and Polaris models earlier this year, none of them published a suction figure at all. Wybot's C2 does publish one — 3,592 GPH, roughly half the Sora's rating. You can read the full breakdown in our Sora 30 vs 70 comparison article.

Smart Navigation, Controlled From Your Phone

Both models use SonicSense™, a dual ultrasonic sensor system paired with onboard processing to detect walls, steps and obstacles and route around them — so the robot covers the pool efficiently instead of bumping the same corner repeatedly. Both the Sora 30 and 70 are also fully app-controlled over Wi-Fi and Bluetooth, so you can start a clean, check progress or schedule a cycle without leaving the sofa.

Battery & Runtime, In Numbers

Beatbot Sora 70 10,000 mAh battery, up to 5 hours continuous floor cleaning, 300 square metre coverage

Both models share the same 10,000 mAh battery, delivering up to 5 hours of continuous floor cleaning and covering up to 3,229 sq ft (around 300 m²) on a single charge — enough for the vast majority of UK domestic pools in one uninterrupted cycle. The Sora 70 extends this further to up to 7 hours when running its water-surface cleaning cycle.

Built for Autumn, Not Just Summer

The Sora 70 carries a 6L debris basket (5L on the Sora 30) with a 150-micron standard filter, sized to handle a heavy debris day — leaves, twigs, sediment — without clogging mid-cycle. That matters most exactly when you need it most: during autumn leaf-fall, when a smaller basket means stopping to empty it partway through a clean.

Effortless Retrieval

Beatbot Sora 70 smart water-surface parking for easy retrieval

When a cycle finishes or the battery runs low, both models rise to the water surface and park themselves at the pool edge, ready to lift out — no reaching into the water, no heavy corded unit to haul up from the floor.

Cordless By Design

No cable to tangle, no poolside outlet required, and nothing to trip over. Charge indoors, carry it out, drop it in.
