Beatbot's AquaSense 2 Ultra and AquaSense X are the only robotic pool cleaners on the market with ClearWater™ Technology built in — an active water clarifier that runs alongside the robot's normal cleaning cycle, rather than a separate product you dose by hand. It uses a natural clarifying agent made from recycled crab shells to bind fine particles together so your filter can catch them, leaving water visibly clearer without extra chemicals.

What ClearWater™ Technology Actually Does

  • Natural clarifying agent. Made from recycled crab shells — a naturally derived material, not a synthetic chemical additive.
  • Binds fine particles. The agent causes microscopic debris that would normally slip through a filter to clump together, so the robot's own filtration can physically capture it.
  • Runs during normal cleaning. It works as part of the robot's regular cycle — there's no separate dosing step or extra device to run.
  • Skin-safe. Formulated to be safe for swimmers, not a harsh pool chemical.

Why This Matters

Most robotic pool cleaners — including every other model Poolbot stocks or compares against — only do mechanical cleaning: vacuuming, brushing and filtering physical debris off the floor, walls or waterline.
